About
Bogdan Lisiewski parses family lore, childhood traumas, and the daily grind of invisible conflicts with sustained skepticism. Everything here is imbued with a sense that reality is not defeated, but is ideal for an exercise in irony. The next concert does not promise revelations, but brings to light what they usually hide - disturbing symbols from grandmother's pantheon, strange adulthood and everyday exoticism of the subway. Sadness is replaced by anger, anger by a tired grin, and all this as if for the sake of one simple idea: the impossibility to come to terms with this world at least gives back the right to laugh at it.
