About

Nikita Milovanov is a comedian who prefers to see the world not as a drama, but as a protracted absurdist spectacle. His concerts are a look at personal and societal paradoxes without trying to fix anything. Between communal fights over elevators and national pens about the "gene of slavery", he manages to find the comic even in things that should be the subject of a sigh. Milovanov's style is based on irony, cynicism and a healthy distance from the heroism of everyday life. No pride, no pathos: only observations with the tired gaze of someone who has already lived six lives in a domestic entranceway, but has not found any answers there. Culture is glimpsed in the form of a bro with tattoos or a drunken philosopher, but in the end it turns out that we are all just trying to explain our surroundings through absurdity and flimsy conclusions.
