Max Evdokimov is a comedian who doesn't look for easy ways out, because he lives where there have never been any. His concerts are a chronicle of his struggle with the absurdity of everyday life: there's waiting as long as a traffic jam, and saving money like a national sport.
Instead of answers, there is honest amazement at the philosophical impasse that emerges from an ordinary queue at a polyclinic. Yevdokimov is observant, but he trusts neither himself nor life, which means that his every monologue is the very "haven't given up yet," but he doesn't particularly expect to win either.
The main thing in his humor is the ability to laugh at the fact that we are all no longer at the start or the finish line, but somewhere in between, watching hope once again miss us.
