Dave Ostrovsky prefers not to give out consolations - neither to himself nor to the audience. In the new concert "Queen" he habitually looks at the cracks in the scenery of his own life: divorces, trips, relationships on the brink and sobriety, which resembles not a feat, but a forced reality.
There is no room for false cheerfulness here - instead a caustic irony about human relationships and banal domestic disintegration. Ostrovsky stubbornly searches for logic in the absurdity of the world around him and almost finds it in a simple device: it is easier to bear your own chaos when you laugh first.
