About
Denis Antipin is a master of observing everyday apathy without trying to turn it into a bright future. His concert is a portrait of contemporary irritation, when it is easier for each of us to discuss awkward sex or fear of horses than to honestly admit to ourselves that everything around us is sometimes ridiculous and tiresome. Antipin pretends he doesn't want to be a star, but he knows exactly what real stars are like: they're just as tired and embarrassed as he is, only disguised better. Behind the laughter here comes philosophy - not so much about the meaning of life, but more about how not to go mad in an age of perpetual noise and everyday dullness.
