About
Nastya Venevitina explores personal fears and false expectations in an era where noses, like romantic feelings, can be exchanged at a bargain. She talks about how unsettling it is to live in a world where male tact has replaced the condom behind the ear, and it's easier to talk about sex with a massage therapist than with a guy. In her performance of "Good Girl," the sarcasm sounds almost tired: irony at herself and the reality around her, trying to figure out who you are when the standard for a woman's body and emotions is dictated by advertising. The only thing to do is to accept: love is still rare, and the main romance is with yourself and your own nose.
