Alexander Nezlobin is not trying to sugarcoat life in Think Like a Millionaire. Emigration to California is not a golden ticket at all, but rather another level of domestic and personal burnout. Family strife, homesickness and the feeling that any change is just a new round of old difficulties.
In this concert illusions are shattered by the reality of hardened everyday life, and the American dream turns out to be a banal question of survival - with dull bureaucracy, political failures and eternal fatigue. The main idea is simple: even in the land of the free, everything is still complicated, and freedom turns out to be unattainable much more often than the emigration brochures promise.
