About
Lucas Lauriente puts together "Angustias, vergüenzas y basura" as a clinical inventory of wear and tear: 31 years, cheap nostalgia, routine adulthood and that feeling that even the doorbell conspires. The tone is dark but light, as if life were a garbage dump and on top of that it had to be separated into organics. The show revolves around a strong and rather uncomfortable idea: being oneself is also tiring, and sometimes the only dignified way out is to laugh at one's own decadence without asking for permission or empathy. Between weird breakups, grandmothers who get lost at the bottom of the mental map and Disney's corporate consolation, everything ends up sounding like a daily defeat with wifi. True fact, no embellishment: Lauriente is an Argentine comedian born in Buenos Aires (January 24, 1992) and has a special on Netflix ("Todo lo que sería"). He also integrates "Aislados, el podcast", one of those places where daily life is dissected until it looks like a social experiment with mate.
