Vera Kotelnikova is a person who has little faith that the glass is half-full, especially if it contains tests from the district polyclinic. In her concert "Drink Water" the usual Moscow scenarios - from lost documents to feminist reflections in the food court - lose the semblance of common sense and turn into a series of domestic tortures, through which, however, one can carry a subtle irony.
Here, fatigue is not hidden under fashionable cynicism - it becomes the language that life itself speaks. There are no illusions about the light at the end of the tunnel, but from time to time there is a glimmer of hope that connections between people do exist and are not limited to chance encounters in diners.
