Disgraceful
The author's stand-up is an attempt to turn family traumas, panic attacks and love for Tarkovsky into a play about the generation gap and the impossibility of understanding each other. Here is the pain of war in the family, and awkward encounters with classical music, and the eternal struggle with inner demons that do not die, but only change form. The hall - as if at a hangout, where everyone is afraid to make eye contact, but forced to keep the pause between jokes and bitter truth. All this to the accompaniment of organ, accordion and the idea that happiness is an illusion and flexibility is not always a virtue. In the end, one is left with the feeling that even the most profound experiences can be packed into an endless stream of doubts and irony that never lets anyone go.
