The city, alcohol, covid and senseless attempts to make sense of oneself and the world - all this is squeezed into a stream of absurdity and domestic disasters, where loneliness neighbors with ridiculous dates and medical adventures. It's as if the author is trying to beat himself, but more often than not he loses in the game with reality, where even cabs and reviews are a reason for philosophy. The result is a tired contemplation, where the funny and the sad are inseparable, and hope for order is as much an illusion as belief in the fairness of grades or the meaning of social surveys.
