About

Dinara Kurbanova relies on honesty and healthy skepticism: in her new concert "Grandmother's Daughter" the cracks between the city and the countryside become the ground for a slightly caustic but recognizable irony. Where for some people Moscow is Moscow, for others it's just a new kind of communal hell, and SPF doesn't help. The main observation is that growing up is about as easy as finding a convenient toilet in the countryside. Behind every joke there is a sad understanding: traditions are outdated, the characters are not getting younger, and surviving in this circus is the whole point of success.
