Married life is a battle with grandmother's prayers, Latvian laws and his own anxieties, where love is juxtaposed with the fatigue and absurdity of emigration. The hero tries to master his husband's trade, struggles with mental diagnoses and teaches his wife Latvian, while pondering the meaning of children, freedom and the monopoly of divorce. All this - under the sauce of domestic chaos, where even sex turns into a political act and therapy into an unpredictable adventure.
